Running into someone I haven't seen for a longtime, pleasantries exchanged then.....
"Wow!!" Reaching and patting my stomach "You're expecting again!!! When are you due??"
I mutter something about actually not being pregnant and stare at my feet...
"I am so sorry" she is now bright red.

oh dear, i'm sorry! somebody did that to my Mum a while back and I felt so bad for not only my Mum but the lady who said that to her.
